In this HD Video I will open the box from BHPhoto which contains the Sony Alpha A5000 w/ 16-60mm kit lens, Sony 16-70mm f/4 OSS lens (sel1670z), plus the 24-70mm f/4 OSS Lens (sel2470z).
I also received some new lighting from BHPhoto that I will be reviewing pretty soon. The video lighting kit I’m using is called the Impact Three Light Mini-Boom kit (click here). It’s extremely affordable in my opinion for only $219.95 US, and allows me to record video at ISO 100 as opposed to ISO 3200 like I was doing a lot of the time in the past. It’s amazing to say the least and will drastically improve the production quality from the lab! I got a few other very affordable video tools I will be reviewing and showing off shortly as well.
|I set-up a table in the “lab” for a much better viewing experience I think. I have the turn-table in the foreground being filmed from another angle, so it’s basically a multi camera shoot with a close-up view of all the gear on the turn table! I hope you like it, and I have plans to make it better. The photo behind my head for example needs to come down, and the table also needs to move further away from the wall. This way I can use a green screen and get a better depth to the scene. I still need to iron it all out as this was the first time filming with the video lights and using the table set-up.|
My good friend Matt Peterson who has experience with video and also packs a full frame Sony Alpha A99 with Zeiss 24-70mm f/2.8 lens! Matt is super eager to help out and I am very lucky to have a second person filming I must tell you. It’s ridiculous how much harder everything is to do by yourself when compared to having somebody else filming! We did a bunch of filming on Saturday and so far I have the open box done as you will see below. We also went out in the field and got some real world hands-on experience with the gear, and I really think you will like that video as well.
In any event, here is the open box video and please feel free to ask questions or comment below as always 😉
Open Box – Sony Alpha A5000, Zeiss 16-70mm, and 24-70mm lenses
Be sure to select the HD Quality and go full screen with the for the best viewing experience 😉
That is it for now, but please stayed tuned for more real world testing of all the gear! As always feel free to ask questions or make requests if you have them 😉
