As I am finalizing my Sony FE 24-50mm f/2.8 G Lens youtube review I just wanted to put some of the sample photos I got from this new incredible optic Sony just dropped using my Sony A7C2. The IQ is really good and nearly on par with some of the GM lenses I have tested like the FE 24-70mm GM II Lens for example…
I took these sample photos this past weekend in Kingston, NY and it was really freezing out, so I did the best I could in the few hours I had. I got some decent shots and the pop on some of them is exceptional in my opinion. Sharpness is also incredible, but will be easier to see the details in the lab testing photos coming soon!

Here’s a few more lower light sample photos from last night. Some from inside this restaurant that I will not plug, because the food kinda sucked, but they lights inside were off the hook… The people are my Dad, my brother Chris, and my son Jase if you are not aware…
I took more extremely low light sample photos at this restaurant just down the road from where I live in NY called The Dale… Killer food, great time, and some nice real world sample photo opportunities with the cool lights, food, and drink…
Closing Remarks
As you can see this new lens offers some stellar optics and for the price point of $1100 US w/ nearly GM quality it’s an incredible value for the money in my opinion for those looking for top quality versatile f/2.8 constant aperture glass.
