In this awesome video courtesy of the extremely talented Manny Ortiz, we get to go on a photoshoot with the New Sony A6600 and E 16-55mm f/2.8 G Lens.
I highly recommend watching, and I guarantee you will learn a few things in the process! Like the fact that Manny can take a punch to the gut like a champ and trucks love to hit and run in NYC. Seriously though, his light control, posing skills, and model direction are very impressive and super helpful for those us trying to get better in these areas of the game.
The lens looks pretty darn good from the sample photos he shows as well, although ~$1400 US is a lot of cash and the lens does not have Yasal Tombala Siteleri optical stabilization built in. However, the Sony A6600 he was using has the 5-axis sensor stabilization, so with that camera you really don’t need the optical stabilization as much.
