In this review I will be covering the GVM RGB20W On-Camera RGB LED Video Light . I will first go over the light and show you how it works, then I will walk you thru the process of using the GVM LED App to control the light via bluetooth.
The GVM RGB20W is a very nice option for those looking for a portable lighting solution with the added bonus of RGB colors for fun effects and bringing your creativity to the next level. The light also has a bunch of fun lighting modes such as disco party, lightning, cop car lights and so one.
Having the ability to use the GVM LED App to control the light is such a huge convince factor that it cannot be understated. Since I started using the GVM Lights namely the awesome G100W I reviewed a few weeks ago, the use of the App control has really made me appreciate the technology more and more. Now I just walk into my studio, fire up the APPs and I control all my lights from my chair while in front of the camera, so I see exactly what effect the lights are having live, while in position. Before this I had to get up, tweak the lights, then sit back down to check and see how it looks. Well, that gets old fast let me tell ya!
With all that being said, I hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to ask questions below and by all means share your thoughts on this GVM RGB20W or just your lighting experience in general. I’m always to game to learn and hear what you guys are using these days…
