In this review I will be covering the New 7Artisans 35mm f/0.95 Lens using my Sony A6400 for a camera body and the Lab plus real world for detailed testing and analysis… Please come along for the ride and be sure to scroll down for sample photos and more…
The 7Artisans 35mm f/0.95 lens is designed for APS-C crop factor cameras like my Sony A6400 and goes for about $250 US. This lens is also made for several other camera mounts for Fuji, Canon, Leica, and M43 for example.
A fast prime manual focus lens like this is ideal for those looking to get creative with their photography and video. Being a manual focus lens, a bit more patience will be needed. With that patience however comes the reward of knowing you composed the shot and nailed the focus yourself, which might not seem like much, but it really does feel good!
If you are unfamiliar on how to manual focus a lens, check out this awesome tutorial I created using the 7Artisans 55mm f/1.4 lens this way >>

Conclusions
At the end of the day, I’m very happy to report this lens is awesome in the real world and I highly recommend it for those looking for a crazy fast 35mm manual focus lens. The real world image quality is excellent and the lens is very compact and fairly light weight considering the size of the glass to accommodate the f/0.95 aperture. The incredible shallow depth of field and killer bokeh this lens produces makes it ideal for those looking for maximum creative freedom, and dreamy buttery backgrounds that is pure gravy…. In short, I highly recommend this lens and the value for dollar is off the charts in my opinion when you see the images that can be produced by this beast.
That is about it for this review, but please let me know what you think of the 7artisans 35mm f/0.95 Lens. Also, If you have one of these lenses, please tell me your thoughts on the images you have captured so far! I’ll catch up with you all later and please have a great day.
