A6300 Reviews and Articles:
Sony A5000
The Sony A5000 is very similar to the A5100 in body design, but it doesn’t pact the same power. The A5000 features the older sensor that does not have the super fast hybrid AF like the A5100 and A6000 have. It has contrast AF only which is not near as fast or accurate as the new hybrid AF. The 20mp sensor has excellent image quality though and for the price point it’s hard to beat the A5000. The A5000 also comes standard with the 16-50mm powerzoom kit lens.

Sony A3000
The A3000 mirrorless camera from Sony offers more of a traditional DSLR body design which is great for ergonomics! This offers a more comfortable experience when using larger e-mount lenses and/or holding the camera for extended periods of time. A nice option which is also extremely affordable!

Sony Nex-7
The Sony Nex-7 is the most powerful mirrorless camera on the market!! I own one, but unfortunately broke it when I fell on the ice.
Check it out: Naked Nex-7 >> if you want to see what the inside looks like!!
The Nex-7 offers a very high resolution APS-C sized sensor packing 24mp.! The huge sensor also provides excellent depth of field characteristics that really makes the camera great for portraits and dramatic video effects. The build quality on the Nex-7 is beefed up compared to the other Sony Nex models by offering a metal skin and dslr style grip. The biggest advantage to the Nex-7 over the other Nex models, is the built in Hot Shoe, making it a breeze to use Off Camera Flash and More!!

Sony Nex-6
The Nex-6 is a slightly refined and less expensive version of the Sony Nex-7. It has a built in viewfinder which is a must for bright daylight shooting, and a killer swivel screen. It doesn’t flip up 180degrees like the Nex-5r, but unlike the Nex-5r it does face all the way down for easy over head shooting.
The Nex-6 features a New 16mp sensor with built in Phase detection AF sensors. This enhances the Native contrast autofocus by speeding things up significantly. This is great for both video and regular photography!! The Sony Nex-6 also features a standard hot shoe, which will make it a breeze to use with studio lights, regular flash units, or other hot shoe mountable devices!.
Key Features:
- Pocket camera with professional-grade performance
- 16 MP APS-C sensor with up to 10 fps shooting and Full HD video
- Fast Hybrid AF includes phase-detection for DSLR-like focus
- Bright XGA OLED viewfinder for 100% coverage
- Wi-Fi sharing and downloadable camera apps
- DSLR-like operation with new intuitive Quick Navi controls
- Multi-interface Smart Accessory Shoe for system accessories
- Built-in Guide Number 6 flash brightens the scene
- 11 exciting Picture Effects for stills and videos
- Photo Creativity for easy image adjustments\
Nex-6 Price: ~$898 (body Only)

Sony Nex-5R
The Sony Nex-5R is very similar to the Sony Nex-5T, except it has the same updated 16mp sensor that the Sony Nex-6 has. The Nex-5R also features a special 180 Degree flip-up Touch Screen design. This is perfect for doing self portraits or video recordings where seeing the screen is critical. Reviews like myself will find this incredible useful!! The Sony Nex-F3 also features this 180 degree flip screen and I used it a lot while I had the camera in the lab. The Nex-5R does not have a built in viewfinder like the Nex-6, but does except the OLED Viewfinder Accessory which is great if you need it.

Sony Nex-5n
The Sony Nex-5n is technical the previous generation 5-series model, but it’s still has the huge APS-C sized sensor and almost all the other features of the newer models. It continues to sell like wildfire at Amazon and rank on the top of the charts for Most Sold Compact Cameras. The Sony Nex-5n has the previous generation 16mp sensor which has excellent image quality and noise control. It also features a touch screen which some people really like for flexible focusing and accessing the menu. The Nex-5n does not have a buile in viewfinder, but it does support the OLED Accessory Viewfinder.
Nex-5n Price: ~$548 (body Only)
Sony Nex-3n
The Sony NEX-3N Mirrorless Digital Camera has an Exmor APS-C CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 16.1MP and a BIONZ image processor. It accepts Sony E-Mount lenses, including the supplied Power Zoom (PZ) lens, which has an effective focal length of 16-50mm (35mm equivalent: 24-75mm), a maximum aperture of f/3.5-5.6, and both ED and aspherical elements. The lens is retractable and compact, measuring just 3/16″ at its shortest length.
The camera also features a large 3.0″ LCD screen that has a resolution of 460,800 dots and tilts 180° up and 13° down. Capture Full HD 1080i video at 60 fps and 1080p video at 24 fps. The NEX-3N is effective in challenging lighting conditions without using the built-in flash, thanks to a wide ISO range of 100-16000 and advanced noise reduction. The camera has an Intelligent AF system and manual focus capability. Auto Object Framing fills the frame with your subject by automatically recognizing the scene and cropping accordingly. Using the Photo Creativity feature, you’ll enjoy easy access to Picture Effect settings and controls for Background Defocus, Brightness, Color and Vividness.
Nex-3n Price: ~$498 w/ kit lens
Sony Nex-F3
The Sony Nex-F3 is currently the introductory model Nex family camera. It features the 180 degree swivel screen, which is again great for reviewers and self photographs etc.. The 3″ LCD Screen is Not a touch screen like the one found on the Nex-5R and Nex-5N cameras. It has pretty much all the same features as the Nex-5n for the photography side. Video side the Nex-F3 offers 720p HD video where as the Nex-5n offers Full 1080P. Be sure to check out my Hands on review of the Nex-F3 using a variety of Lenses!!

Sony Nex-C3
The Nex-C3 is the previous generation Nex 3-series camera, but it’s still a great deal if you can find one!! I did an extensive review on the Nex-C3 and loved it!!
The Sony Alpha NEX-C3 camera is a very capable camera. Adjust the tiltable 3.0 LCD screen to review your pics or use it to frame-up your next shot with the camera really low to the ground or high above your head at a concert. Tons of modes including Sweep Panorama in 2D and 3D, Auto HDR, Handheld Twilight and Anti Motion Blur. Killer 720/30p HD to playback and share later. Get incredible detail and gorgeous enlargements thanks to 16.2MP resolution and Sony Exmor APS HD CMOS technology. The kit for this camera comes with the 18-55mm lens or the 16mm f/2.8 pancake lens. I got the the 18-55mm kit with the 16mm pancake lens, and the optical viewfinder separate.
