Cool Jase from Today ~6 Months Old w/ Loxia 35mm f/2 Lens

Our Newborn Jase, that is growing almost as fast as our puppy Bones, is really starting to come into his own a bit I'm watching him today why Michele took Layla to dance class! Take a look a this photo I just snapped a few minutes ago this morning using my Sony A7r and the killer Zeiss Loxia 35mm f/2 Biogon T* Lens! The Loxia is proving to be totally worth every penny in my opinion so far. I would love to have a lens of this quality for all the prime focal lengths in fact! Sure faster would be nice, but f/2 these days is with high ISO being so good, it's not that big of a deal.

This photo was actually taken using f/5.6, ISO 4000 (Auto ISO), and a shutter speed of 1/200sec (Shutter Priority Mode), to ensure my best chance of sharpness. He is a mover and shaker let me tell you...

    Great shot as always Jay!
How do you focused? Used the magnification and put on the eyes?

Very nice. I was going to question the 1/200 because you could have reduced the ISO quite a bit; however, I see that you were dealing with a squirmer. Heh. It's a great capture. That Loxia 35/2 is an intriguing lens.
