Just my opinion, but the more I play with the autoHDR feature on the Sony a35 the more it seems like Super Reality. Sony claims that is were there headed remember the article from last week, and I think there on the right track!! When using the autoHDR feature the camera is able to capture way more dynamic range that it could normally with 1 image. It takes 3 shots and then exposure blends them in a matter of seconds and pumps out an image with incredible dynamic range!
Check these out using the Sony 16-80mm Carl Zeiss Lens and the autoHDR feature enables set to 6-EV. I had the camera set to ISO 400, f/8, and I shot all of these handheld in Jpeg mode. I exported these from Adobe Lightroom 3 with a few minor edits such as crop, clarity, saturation, and vignette. Full Resolution versions for your viewing pleasure in my Sony a35 Sample Gallery.
