I used above video, only I started with weld. So where he got short ends I have welded loop. And you can stop at 7:10, he is making knot and I was done

That is the coolest one yet Obelix! Awesome job and thank you so much for sharing the necessary modification tips that are different than the video

I relly like how this one is round as apposed to flat like the other style for the most part.

Thanks again for sharing and your efforts with the extra photos and creation tips so we can easily do it,

Used to make these for activity time... for camping and never thought of using it as a camera strap. You can double band these and make them into belts too.
(Insert list of camera gear that lets others know how much money you have here.)

Very interesting info... I wished I had seen this before I purchased a commercial version.

Probably a project for Christmas vacation if I get snowed in.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
Very affordable and lots of fun! Also challenging if you choose to make one of the more complicated designs, or color schemes. What is also cool about paracord is potentially, you could use it in an emergency situation as well.

Bookmarking this for a rainy weekend. I think I might attach mine through the OP/TECH Mini quick-detach loops.

Well, after buying an a6000, the first thing I noticed is the flimsy strap that came with it. So after some searching around I ended here.. So I ordered me some cord.
With the aid of youtube I made me a nice wriststap:

    (a6000, bog-standard kitlens in a-mode)

Now it fits like a glove:

(Motorola Moto-G Hence the strange color-shift)

Thanks for the great idea! Before reading this post I had already found an offer on Etsy... for €14,00! Wow.

What a great idea and I am with all who are going to give this a go.
I will look at a hardware shop close to my place for this stuff as they seem to have a hepa of ropes of different kinds.
I know I would use it to.
So thank you Mr. Obelix for your good find.
I will book mark this so I can find it quicker when I get my stuff to make mine.
CC is always welcome, the good and the bad. I promise not to take it personal as I know it wasn't meant that way.

Well,, maybe not the best looking but functional and i saved myself about $10 dollars. I used a soldering iron instead of a lighter, maybe a bit more messier
