a6300 pulsating focus after focus confirmation

Admittedly i only notice this in low light. but i never noticed as a problem with the a6000
In video or auto focus stills in any auto setting, there is a failure to maintain focus after initial focus lockon or confirmation. Even when i set the ISO at the very highest.

lens 1650. What am i doing wrong?

It seams like the camera is trying to focus on the fast moving car. As if it's trying to re aquire focus from another point. I'm thinking the camera is getting confused in this scenario. Does it do it when the car is going slow?

it does it when there is no motion in front of it at all,, as though there is not enough contrast for a lock on. even though focus confirmation was achieved.

Weird for sure. What focus mode are you using? I'm guessing you locked the focus, then hit record for video? Also, in situations like this where you are not tracking focus, you can lock the AF then switch to manual focus before pressing record as a work around..
