    Firmware update 6-8-17

Sony has updated 2.0 firmware for the a6300 (as well as others)
    and apparently addresses overheating.

"Improves stability in picture shooting mode by optimizing temperature control (effects vary according to temperature)"
I wonder,, does this mean recording quality or settings will minutely change once the camera reaches a certain temperature? Such as shutter speed or bit rate?

Thanks for sharing and it is possible the bit-rate will change, but I doubt it.... That would be unacceptable to a lot of folks
