No I have not had this happen to me ever. The only thing I think of is the battery or the batter connector contacts may have something on them? Not really sure, sorry...

Must be the UK voodooooo then. Ha Ha. Might try some different batteries.
It happened last week using my transmitter for my flash, then with my new Sigma 150-500mm with the La-4ea or whatever the number is yesterday.

Hi SP. Yes it was a Sony battery.
Keep fingers crossed Darren. I think I used my A6000 more on hols than my A7 mkii.
