ok what shutter release was this ????

A recent sunrise photo shoot...was watching a guy with two cameras.....

He had a little one setup with a shutter release....it would take a shot every 2 to 3 seconds the entire time I was there shooting sunrise etc.....so a good while.

I asked him what he was doing and it was making a time lapse video....

He does this every place he shoots with this little camera while he uses his other camera to take shots like I was doing...

I never thought to ask about his shutter release....

It had a small like led display and stuff and looked like it had a couple of maybe AAA batteries in it...so this would power it to shoot for extended or programmed intervals for a number of shots or time...

Any one seen or used one of these ?

    Likely an intervalometer https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...valometer+sony

For the e-mount cameras, you can also just use the time-lapse app from the play memories store ($9.99).

Two is one, and one is none.
