There is a camera page on facebook for Australia and there you can sell your unwanted camera gear, as in lens and camera.
Then I seen this post (I am selling my used Sony A mount lenses 1. Sony SAM 55-300mm DT 4.5-5.6 price $250 Tamron 18 -270mm)
I have got a 300mm lens made by Tamron its the one with the macro on it.
When I had my a390 I had the Sony 300mm lens and it was a good lens.
My one i have now just doesn't seem to be overly crisp and clear all the time.
So I thought I would like to get another one and retire the Tamron 300mm lens.
I sent this fella a message that I was interested in the lens and a week later I got a reply.
And by this time I just wondered how serious this fella was as to the time.
I gave up on them. Then I got a reply. I had to reply with how much would the postage be.
Only to be told by him that he doesn't send things through the post as these are delicate and the post would stuff them up.
Well most stuff here in Australia has to be sent anyway so what was the point of the reply.
All he had to do was place them in bubble wrap and they would be safer that the day they were actually sent.
But he has refuse to go any further so I just said it was his loss and that he should reword his post so this doesn't happen again.
Oh well I will find one close by sooner or later.
