Just Got the Sony FDR-AX100 4k Camcorder

So I just got on loan, the Sony FDR-AX100 4k Ultra HD Camcorder for Layla's dance recital later today and I think it should do a pretty good job assuming I can figure out how to use properly The camcorders are really awkward compared to a regular camera coming from my perspective, but it should certainly do the trick! It packs the 1" Sony Sensor, so the quality should be really good! The RX10 III would have also been a good option, but I had to send that back, and needed extended recording time via the much larger battery and what not. We shall see how it turns out this evening when I get home, and hopefully my 64gb card will be enough storage space. I may have to lower the quality a bit in order to get more time I'm thinking. Currently I have it at the 100mbs 24/p 4k quality...It only gives about 1.5 hours or so and the recital is 3 hours at least. I don't plan on recording the whole thing, but the time is still going to be close to fitting at best quality.
