A6300 or RX10III

Hi. My name is Diego and I’m from spain. I work in my own local newspaper as a director and photographer. I have a A99 Camera with 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 lenses, but I’m looking for a smaller and more confortable camera for travelling and moments I don’t want to carry all my gear.
After much searching I’m trying to decide between two options. A6300 with the 18-105 f4 or the RX10 III. I use the camera 99% for photo but it’s important for me to have a good video option. I love the range of the RX10III, but with the a6300 and the 18-105 I think I have a good allround and i would have the option to use my lenses with the a6300 as a second body.
I appreciate your opinions to make a decision. Thanks everyone and excuse my english.

Great intro and a big welcome! I will be getting the NEW Sony RX10 III any day now, but can tell you it's pretty large and heavy. Not exactly ideal for walking all day for example when compared to the A6300 with a pancake 16-50mm kit lens for example. The A6300 with the 18-105mm G OSS Powerzoom Lens is pretty large and heavy as well, but still not as much as the RX10 III at the end of the day. Plus you can put any lens on the A6300 and get better depth of field control via the larger sensor. I would recommend the A6300 for the smaller and lighter body and potential flexibility in size and weight for travel. The RX10 II is noticeable lighter than the RX10 III, 1.8 lbs vs 2.4 lbs.. The Sony A6300 w/ 18-105mm g OSS Lens will be ~ 14.25oz + 15.06oz = 1.8 lbs...

Hi Jay thanks for your reply. I had not realized the weight difference . I had only seen the RXI0 II and thought the size and weight was similar. I really like the a6300 but the RX10 III lense seems amazing. I really like the size of the a6300 and all the reviews are really positive. I think the a6300 will be my choice, but more opinions are welcome. Thanks again Jay

PD: Can I use my lenses with the LA-EA3 Adaptador without losing the autofocus? Or what adaptor is needed?

Anytime, and yes you can us the LA-EA3 lens adapter and the AF will work on most newer lenses. Some older ones like the 135mm f/1.8 Zeiss lens for example, require the focus drive motor which is in the LA-EA4 lens adapter only. The on sensor af works really good, even with Canon lenses via the Metabones and other electronic lens adapters.

Finally I've ordered the a6300 with the 18-105 f4. Hope it will be the right option. Probably I'll buy later a prime lens to have a more portable option.
