This is a very interesting video. One thing he mentions is that the Sony A cameras (e.g., A6000) will accept flash from non-Sony manufacturers (he shows a Nikon flash working on the A7). I had never heard this. Is this in fact correct? I have a Sigma macro flash that was designed for the Canon Digital Rebel - would that work on the A6000? What risk is there in connecting non-Sony flash? What functions are supported? Sony E mount cameras have always supported other manufacturer lenses (with adapter) - and that is a very nice feature. Adding flash would be really nice.
This is a very nice feature if true. Anyone tried this?
