Sony A99 - RAW vs in-camera JPEG

Hi all

Here's a scene I photographed lastnight at a nearby beach at dusk. One of them is the in-camera JPEG and the other is the RAW image converted to JPEG as faithful to the actual scene as I could manage. Can you pick which is which? Which one do you prefer? Considering I've still got a bit of editing left to do on the RAW, what would be your next move and why?

Check out the new Sigma 18-35mm Zoom lens with a constant f/1.8 aperture!! Not available yet for Sony officially, but Sigma will come through in the end I'm sure

Adobe just published a public Beta of Lightroom 5. Download it here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom5/

The changes are not that spectacular, but the new healing brush seems pretty cool. And a new shortcut: hit "F" to see full screen picture in lightbox.

Dinant, Saxophone City

Yesterday I went on a trip to the French speaking part of Belgium, the Wallony, 1 1/2 hours ride from my home town. The small town of Dinant, situated in the valley of the River Maas (french La Meuse), is famous for two things: first the rocks, rising high right out of the city, with a citadel built in 1051, above it.

Secondly, the inventor of the saxophone, Mr. Adolphe Sax, was born there. I took a walk through the city, there�s really saxophones everywhere . Then I entered a cable railway to take me up to the citadel, because I really didn't want to walk all the way up there with more than 400 stairs. From above
