• SAL Photography Challenge #15 - The Golden Hour

    Before the curtain falls on this thread, here are a couple shots taken during my recent vacation that qualify for golden hour timing (sunset in this case).

    Both pictures taken in Tadoussac, a small Quebec town where the Saguenay river (fjord) meets with the St-Lawrence river. Large whales come there to feed and you can see them from the shore. Organized tours go on the water to allow you to see the whales even closer. In the summer the place is sold out but still maintains a rustic atmosphere. A nice place to visit if you like nature...

    Both images taken using an A6000 and Zeiss E 16-70mm lens.

    Time permitting, I will have other images to share from other Quebec regions, also taken early/late in the day.
