    Those of you who know me are aware of my wandering eye where Pentax is concerned. I've long coveted the K5 (actually hunger for the new K5-IIs) and I came within a bee's dick of buying the K-01.

    Now there's this! The MX-1 =]



    I'm not too sure I'd be happy with the tiny 1/1.7" sensor, but the rest looks great on paper - including a fast f/1.8-2.5 zoom lens, 1/8000 max shutter speed and its dual-type image stabilisation.

    Fortunately, I've already got this spot in my camera bag filled by the amply capable and totally awesome Sony RX100. But, if the wife gets her way and claims the little Sony as her own, I could always take a serious look at this little bewdy. Or buy the K-01 after all.
