Camera Apps and the Nex-5R

I've had a chance to try out the smart phone connectivity with an iPhone and it's been a little buggy at times. In a very informal test, it seemed to maintain a connection out to about 30 feet or so. Also, sometimes it was difficult to make the initial connection, but that seemed to be related to being close to my main computer wireless router. Maybe interference or something?
The apps have been fun to try out and the one I like best so far is Bracket Pro, and more specifically the focus bracketing. I recently tried out some focus bracketed images where you merge several images with different focus points to create a deeper dof, and I'm hoping this app will work good for that.
