David Busch’s Sony Alpha SLT-A55/A33 Guide to Digital Photography is 352 pages packed with a ton of information you really should know. David Lays out the book quite nicely with a ton of sample photos showing you the results! I had a chance to flip through this at Barnes & Noble the other day and was quite impressed. We hate reading manuals and David pretty much breaks down every aspect of the Sony Alpha a55 in detail. He then explains how and why to set-up your camera for different situations which is critical for people new to photography. Beyond that David goes into some hardcore photography techniques like circles of confusion and how to achieve them, getting long exposures, understanding focus modes and more.
