DXOMark Sensor Score Results Are In For The Nikon 1 System, Sony Crushes It!!

dxomark

Courtesy of SonyAlphaRumors I was informed that the Nikon 1 J1 DXOMark Sensor Score is in!!  And surprise surprise, the Sony Nex-C3 destroys the Nikon in all three categories. Personally after I reviewed the Sony Nex-C3 and seeing the image quality first hand, I’m not surprised at all.  It is nice to see though I must admit!! Be sure to check out my Hands On Review of the Nex-C3 if you hadn’t had a chance

It’s pretty remarkable considering the price points and feature sets of these cameras. The Sony Nex-C3 goes for $599.99, the Nikon goes for $650.95, and the Panasonic goes for $699.99, all with basic zooms.  So, the Nex-C3 is the cheapest of the three cameras, and has by far the best sensor/ image quality across the board which inevitable leads me to this question??

Who and/or why would anybody buy the Nikon or the Panasonic over the Nex-C3? Especially for more money? Call me crazy, but seems like a no brainier to me which camera is the best value for the dollar.
